Account: Nationally scarce (Na) in hedgerows in south-east England, north to Cumbria One of several confusingly similar gelechiids which, given its rarity, should be confirmed away from established sites by dissection of the genitalia. Larva feeds on Field Maple, living within a spun or rolled leaf, and over-wintering as a pupa.
