Vernacular: Least Hook-wing

Account: Local on chalk downland and limestone cliffs throughout much of England Similar in size to A. obtusana, but differs in the dull brown general coloration of the forewing and the acutely angled apex [Bradley]. Larva feeds on Salad Burnet, Wild Strawberry, Cinquefoil and Wild Thyme, living within a spun or rolled leaf, and over-wintering either as a pupa or full-grown larva.
