Account: Common in rough grassland, hedgerows and gardens throughout the British Isles The curved, narrow, pale or whitish yellow medio-dorsal blotch of the forewing is characteristic [Bradley]. Larva feeds within roots of Yarrow, Sneezewort and Tansy.
