Account: Nationally scarce (Nb) in woodland edges and clearings throughout much of the British Isles, more numerous in the south The dorsal suffusion of the forewing with ochreous-yellow and dark-tipped scales is characteristic (MBGBI Vol 3). Larva mines leaves of False-brome.
