Account: Local in hedgerows and scrubland throughout much of England and Wales The small size and dark fuscous-brown coloration of both fore- and hindwings are characteristic [Bradley]. Larva feeds on shoots of Hawthorn and Blackthorn, living between shoots spun together with silk.
