Account: Common in open woodland, woodland rides, woodland edges, woodland clearings, mature hedgerows, calcareous grassland and sand-dunes throughout much of the British Isles Fairly unmistakable. Larva feeds on flowers and seeds of Red Campion and White Campion, over-wintering as a pupa.
