Account: Local in broad-leaved woodland throughout much of southern England and Wales; also in Ireland and Scotland, where represented by different subspecies The most likely confusion species is Figure of Eighty T. ocularis, which see for differences. Larva feeds on Aspen, over-wintering as a pupa.
