Account: Nationally scarce (Nb) on open grassland in widely scattered localities throughout Britain and Ireland, absent from the extreme north of Scotland and the northern half of Ireland (MBGBI Vol 3) Only reliably recorded by dissection of the genitalia. Larva mines leaves of Annual Meadow-grass.
